Hi
Can someone tell me what is meant by the diagnostic exam? I hear that its useful to sit a test to find out where your weak spots are.
Where can I find this exam? is it a kaplan thing?

This is generally a Kaplan thing, but there are alternatives. Kaplan offers a diagnostic exam for a fee that does help identify weak areas. I think the best time for such an exam would be at the beginning of your studies. Other exams include NBME, the USMLE free exams, USMLE World, etc...
